  • Remote start systems are....

useful in the winter to warm up your frosty car as well as in the summer to cool down the interior before you get in.

  • Alarm systems are....

highly recommended and can be installed even if you have an immobilizer, either factory or MPIC installed, in your vehicle.

  • Combination units are....

readily available and bring you both protection and remote start capabilities. Labour charges to install these units is less than the cost of installing each item separately. It is worth considering a combination unit even if you feel you may not use one function or the other right away.

  • Did you know....

Any of these items can be installed in your vehicle even if you have an MPIC installed immobilizer? However, there are some things you need to be aware of up front. Please refer to the MPIC immobilizer info button above to learn more.

  • 1-way vs. 2-way systems

    What's the difference?
A one way system means that the remote control communicates one way; to the vehicle when you press a button. Confirmation of the command (lock or unlock doors, open trunk, start vehicle) is accomplished through flashing the park lights. If you can't see the vehicle you can't confirm the command was successful.

A two way system means the remote control communicates to the vehicle and receives confirmation from the vehicle for all commands. Many two way systems use an LCD display to give you a graphical confirmation. Other systems light up the remote control buttons as confirmation. This gives you full confidence in the success of commands without having your vehicle in sight.

Alarms & Remote Starters

Would you like to jump into a warm vehicle in the winter and a cool vehicle in the summer? With the push of a button you can!

At the same time, you can protect your vehicle and its contents with an alarm system.

Many of today's systems combine both an alarm and remote start into one unit. Whether you want one or the other or both we can install it. Stand alone remote starters, stand alone alarm systems, two-way systems with verification of start and/or alarm status or one-way systems are available on the market.

We also install any equipment you have purchased elsewhere, call or email us for a quote.

Remote Start Systems

We provide remote starter selection and installation based on needs and budget
  • Installation available for most vehicles
  • Standard or automatic transmission
  • Gas or Diesel engine
  • Accessory wiring options available based on make and model of unit -Rear defrost, heated seats, air conditioning etc.
  • In most cases, we can add a stand alone remote starter system to an existing aftermarket alarm system
  • Factory immobilizer equipped vehicles can still have a remote starter installed (extra equipment required in most cases)

Alarm Systems

Stand alone alarm systems are one of the best ways to protect your investment.
  • We will help you choose the best protection based on desired level of protection and budget
  • We will take the mystery out of one-way versus two-way systems

Most all alarm systems have a built in starter kill to slow down a potential thief. We can optionally take this basic system to the next level and customize the process required to start the vehicle even with the key. We won't get into the details here, we don't want to release our secrets.

We also design and install add-ons such as interior sirens, lighting etc.

Basic installation is available as well as advanced installation that includes keyless entry, remote trunk open, door poppers, power window auto up and/or auto down, interior lighting for security before you open the door, perimeter security etc. and even fuel door protection to stop gas thieves.
